Our history
It all started in 1926 when our current CEO David Bourghardt's grandfather started a lace manufacteuring company to supply General Motors in Sweden. One year later Volvo was established and Bourghardt started to deliver curtain laces to the very first Volvo cars. The collaboration with Volvo continued to grow and lace-business developed into interior textiles which evolved into plastic interior parts.
Several decades later Bourghardt moved into its current focus, exterior and interior covers for heavy vehicles, industrial and SATCOM applications.
Produced impact resistant fronts, bumpers and corners for over 10 000 buses, in our special plastic Telene (DCPD). Made sure that over 5 000 satellite antennas are protected from weather with minimum data loss with our composite radomes. Created cost savings for over 6000 construction machines with our parts in Telene.
