Telene/DCPD/moulding

- Impact resistance and finish

Industrial building with a lake

Telene is known for its impact resistance, controllable thickness and its excellent surface finish

For large plastic parts (typically over 1m²) Bourghardt generate cost savings for our customers in a large volume sweet spot, from 300 to 10 000 parts per year.

The freedom to design comes from the moulding process, Reaction Injection Moulding (RIM) where two components are mixed in a mixing head and injected into a mould. The RIM process uses two-parted tools with one cavity and one core, most of our tools are made in aluminum, making the tool cost moderate.
